Released February 13, 2025, this colorway features an off-white knit upper that tells two stories: one side is adorned with a constellation of stars, while the other showcases the Kobe 6's signature scaly snakeskin pattern — a seamless blend of artistry and heritage.

A floating black Swoosh complements Kobe's shield logo on the tongue, tying the design together with understated elegance. Underfoot, a full-length Cushlon midsole houses a large, flexible Zoom Turbo forefoot unit for explosive, responsive cushioning built for the game's biggest stage.

The Nike Kobe 8 Protro 'What The Kobe' 2025 (HM9621-900) is a vibrant, mismatched tribute to Kobe Bryant's iconic 2013 Kobe 8 era. Released April 13, 2025, this 'What The' concept pulls color palettes and details from multiple classic Kobe 8 colorways, combining them into one unforgettable, collector-worthy pair.

The right shoe features a red snakeskin mesh upper contrasted by a bold yellow Swoosh and lime green lining. The left shoe flips the script with a blue snakeskin print and a red Swoosh that matches the collar lining. A large reflective Nike wordmark adorns the inside of each foot for a premium finishing touch. Both shoes are updated with a Cushlon midsole and a springy Zoom Air forefoot unit for modern, responsive cushioning.
