The Nike Kobe 8 Protro 'What The Kobe' 2025 (HM9621-900) is a vibrant, mismatched tribute to Kobe Bryant's iconic 2013 Kobe 8 era. Released April 13, 2025, this 'What The' concept pulls color palettes and details from multiple classic Kobe 8 colorways, combining them into one unforgettable, collector-worthy pair.
The right shoe features a red snakeskin mesh upper contrasted by a bold yellow Swoosh and lime green lining. The left shoe flips the script with a blue snakeskin print and a red Swoosh that matches the collar lining. A large reflective Nike wordmark adorns the inside of each foot for a premium finishing touch. Both shoes are updated with a Cushlon midsole and a springy Zoom Air forefoot unit for modern, responsive cushioning.
